MIXT(E) explore la création vidéo, en collaboration avec le photographe Vincent Gapaillard.

Fidèle à sa manière insolite de photographier des objets en leur suggérant une présence et une existence particulières, Vincent Gapaillard signe ici son premier film, intitulé ‘’BEETLEMANIA’’, en prolongement de la série « accessoires » publiée dans ce numéro.

BEETLEMANIA, THE EXCLUSIVE FILM

MIXT(E) is taking its first steps into video production in a collaboration with photographer Vincent Gapaillard.

With his unique approach to photographing objects by giving them a presence of their own, Vincent Gapaillard has directed his first film, BEETLEMANIA, developped from his accessories story of the same name.

UN COLLECTOR SIGNE PETER ZIMMERMANN

MIXT(E) s’est associé à l’artiste contemporain Peter Zimmermann pour ce deuxième numéro.

Ce peintre plasticien allemand, spécialiste de la couleur et représenté par la galerie Emmanuel Perrotin, a imaginé des œuvres inédites à découvrir au fil des pages, et  signe la création d’un luxueux coffret collector.

MIXT(E) worked with contemporary artist Peter Zimmermann for this second issue.

The Cologne-based painter, known for his work with coloured resin (and represented by the Galerie Emmanuel Perrotin) created new works that feature throughout the issue, as well as the stunning collector’s edition.

Le deuxième numéro de MIXT(E) choisit d’ouvrir la saison en Technicolor. Place donc à un numéro plein de couleurs vives, d’air frais et de joie de vivre qui côté mode suit l’envol des collections printemps/été pour un voyage autour du globe où Est et Ouest, Nord et Sud, passé et futur, masculin et féminin se télescopent avec des résultats explosifs.

Au total 270 pages de mode, beauté, art contemporain, design, architecture, musique, permettent de décrypter les tendances de la saison, et de découvrir de nouveaux talents.

The second issue of MIXT(E) opens the season in Technicolor. A breath of fresh air and a splash of bright colours that follows the spirit of the Spring/Summer collections for a journey around the world. East, West, North and South, past and future, masculine and feminine come together with explosive results.

In total, some 270 pages of fashion, beauty, contemporary art, design, music and architecture underline the season’s trends and highlight the most exciting new talents.
